‘PEAK FESTIVAL’
This coming May, ‘PEAK FESTIVAL 2026 (hereinafter PEAK Festival)’ has unveiled a formidable second lineup, drawing intense attention from music fans.
Early-bird two-day passes, released alongside the first lineup announcement, achieved a complete sellout despite being prepared in the largest quantities for a second straight year, once again proving the strong anticipation surrounding PEAK Festival. The newly announced second lineup assembles an array of artists from Korea and abroad, further stoking the festival atmosphere.
On the first day, May 23, the Japanese global rock band SPYAIR (SPYAIR), which sparked a worldwide syndrome with the anime ‘Haikyu!!’ OST, and QWER, which is shaping a new current in the band scene by dominating major charts with successive hits, will take the stage side by side. Joining them are RETRORIRON (RETRORIRON), steadily consolidating its presence in Japan with trendy, sophisticated sounds, and singer-songwriter Kim Seung-ju, who has built a solid fandom through solo shows and festival appearances, rounding out a rich opening day.
For May 24, the stage is packed with skilled bands leading today’s Korean music scene. Sininryu, which delivers warm resonance, and Na Sang-hyun Band, known for buoyant energy and perfect rapport with audiences, will showcase the essence of live performance. The addition of Bye Bye Badman, which announced a return from a long hiatus last year and was warmly welcomed by the music scene, is set to delight fans. In addition, emerging bands Tokai and DADADA, presenting fresh musical colors, have joined the bill, broadening the festival genre spectrum.
If previously revealed irreplaceable artists such as Jaurim, 10CM, and Thornapple anchor the festival at its core, this second lineup adds the fresh current of the contemporary music scene to raise overall completeness. With artists of firmly distinctive character such as The Solutions, Jung Woo, and Green Flame Boys also in place, the response continues to be that it is ‘curation that precisely reflects the tastes of music fans’.
A PEAK Festival representative stated, “There are additional artists yet to be announced, and we will sequentially unveil a range of content and programs under the keyword ‘connection’,” adding, “We are preparing a festival where the experiences of music, people, and space are organically connected, so we ask for your high expectations.”
