HYBE-Geffen Records global girl group KATSEYE(KATSEYE) is asserting a solid presence on the U.S. Billboard main albums chart.
According to the latest chart (dated March 7) released by Billboard U.S., KATSEYE’s second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS(BEAUTIFUL CHAOS)’ ranked No. 77 on the ‘Billboard 200’. Having peaked at No. 4 (dated July 12, 2025), the album has now spent 35 consecutive weeks on the chart. It is the longest-charting album among girl-group releases from last year.
It continues to perform strongly on the component album charts as well. ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ ranked No. 15 on this week’s ‘Top Album Sales’ chart. Fittingly for an album that finished as the No. 7 best-selling physical album in the United States in 2025 (per Luminate’s ‘2025 Year-End Report’), it is encouraging to see it still holding a high position on the sales chart.
The first EP released in August 2024, ‘SIS(Soft Is Strong)’, also gained momentum. ‘SIS(Soft Is Strong)’ rose 36 spots from the previous week to No. 156 on the ‘Billboard 200’, marking 10 total weeks on the tally. On ‘Top Album Sales’, it climbed nine places to No. 12.
Alongside the album’s popularity, the tracks are also being well received. The ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ cut ‘Gabriela(Gabriela)’ reached No. 48 on the ‘Global 200’ and No. 47 on ‘Global (Excl. U.S.)’. Both are 36 consecutive weeks on their respective charts. Having previously climbed to No. 21 on the main songs chart, the ‘Hot 100’ (dated January 17, 2026), the song’s ‘long-run’ appeal stands out.
KATSEYE is a team formed through the audition project ‘The Debut: Dream Academy(The Debut: Dream Academy)’, based on a ‘K-pop methodology’, and is cited as a representative success case of the ‘multi-home, multi-genre(Multi-home, multi-genre)’ strategy led by HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk. They are slated to take the stage at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival(Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival)’ this April.
