Singer Heo Chan-mi claimed the final Seon title with a performance that spanned 16 years.

In the TV CHOSUN ‘Miss Trot 4’ finale aired on the 5th, Heo Chan-mi took the overall runner-up, ‘Seon’, breaking her streak of audition heartbreak.

That day, in the final hurdle, the ‘Life Song Mission’, Heo Chan-mi chose the song ‘Naya Na’ by Namjin. She did more than simply sing, weaving her winding musical life into the performance. Midway through, she arranged choreography to the theme song ‘Pick Me(PICK ME)’ from ‘Produce 101’ and to ‘Ireokung Jeoreokung’ by her former group Five Dolls, unfolding her four audition bids and 16-year journey like a single musical.

The result was overwhelming. With a master total of 1,583 points, Heo Chan-mi ranked first among the finalists, and she also stayed first in the interim standings that included the online support vote. Although she narrowly yielded the ‘Jin’ position to Lee So-na by a one-point margin amid a barrage of real-time text votes, the consensus was that both judges and fans fully recognized her ability.

Master Jang Yoon-jeong offered high praise, saying, “Now is exactly Heo Chan-mi’s time,” and Joo Young-hoon likewise gave a thumbs-up, calling it “a stage with no regrets regardless of the result.” Heo Chan-mi’s narrative of fearless, unceasing challenge left viewers moved beyond the rankings.

‘Miss Trot 4’ wrapped up splendidly with a final-episode viewership rating of 18.1%. Heo Chan-mi and the TOP5 will carry the momentum forward through upcoming talk concerts and a nationwide tour.
