On ENA·SBS Plus’s ‘I Am SOLO, Love Continues’ (hereafter ‘Love Continues’), Mister Kim stated that he is dating Season 28 contestant Soon-ja from ‘I Am SOLO’.

On the 5th, during a live broadcast on the YouTube channel ‘Chonjang Entertainment TV’, the ‘Love Continues’ cast shared updates after the show and whether they are ‘real-life couples’.

That day, Mister Kim said, “I am seeing Ms. Soon-ja from Season 28.” Explaining how they met, he said, “It was not that Young-su from Season 28 introduced us. I first met Ms. Soon-ja at Young-su’s pop-up event. Our conversation flowed well and I felt a lot of attraction. After exchanging messages, I was the one who took the first step.”

Meanwhile, Season 28’s Soon-ja is divorced and raising one son. However, during his self-introduction on ‘Love Continues’, Mister Kim had said, “It is difficult if there is a child.” Regarding this, he said, “I had fears because I had never dated someone with a child,” adding, “Honestly, it is not easy. But focusing on that one person, I am taking one step at a time along a difficult path.”

Mister Kim also mentioned Soon-ja, who had been criticized as a ‘villain’ on the show. Previously, she was criticized by viewers for rude behavior, such as forcing a male cast member who could not eat spicy food to eat spicy dishes, and saying, “Why are you such a punching bag?”

In response, Mister Kim expressed affection, saying, “On the show, Ms. Soon-ja comes off as mean, but in reality she is pretty, smart, cute, and full of charma cheerful person.”

He continued, “There are many comments saying ‘like attracts like,’ but is that not how people usually meet?” He added, “We have a similar vibe and really click. I think we matched well that way.” He then drew attention by adding, “Ms. Soon-ja is still struggling with malicious comments, so please direct the criticism at me instead.”
