MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘In Your Radiant Season’
Lee Mi-sook sets out to prepare for the future of Nana Atelier.
In episode 5 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘In Your Radiant Season’ (planned by Namgoong Seong-u / written by Jo Seong-hee / directed by Jung Sang-hee, Kim Young-jae / produced by Pan Entertainment), scheduled to air on the 6th, Kim Nana (Lee Mi-sook), who is hiding symptoms of dementia, goes to see Park Man-jae (Kang Suk-woo).
Earlier, Kim Nana had begun to suspect dementia after experiencing frequent forgetfulness and abnormal symptoms such as forgetting her destination in the middle of a crosswalk. After learning that Cha Yu-gyeom (Kim Tae-young), the boyfriend of Song Ha-dam (Oh Ye-joo), was the student who had helped her when she lost her way, Kim Nana asks him not to let her family know, and the two come to share a secret.
In stills released ahead of episode 5, Kim Nana and Park Man-jae enjoy a quiet time together at the cafe ‘Rest’. Kim Nana breaks into a radiant smile as she receives an unexpected gift that Park Man-jae had been unable to give her 55 years ago. Curiosity builds as it is said that the reason the two had to part in the past will also be revealed. Man-jae also suggests that they go together to Chuncheon, a place filled with memories from their childhood. The twilight romance gradually blooming between them is expected to leave a gentle yet beautiful afterglow for home viewers.

After learning that Kim Nana has dementia, Cha Yu-gyeom carefully looks after Nana without telling his girlfriend, Song Ha-dam. Although Kim Nana tells Cha Yu-gyeom not to come to see her, she gradually begins to rely on him, who sincerely worries about her. However, Song Ha-dam misunderstands that Cha Yu-gyeom is hiding something from her, and further conflict is foreshadowed in their relationship.
Amid worsening symptoms, Kim Nana resolves to gradually put her affairs in order. She even begins to consider passing down Nana Atelier, which she has built, to her eldest granddaughter, Song Ha-ran. Kim Nana calls in Song Ha-ran, who is spending busy days on an animation collaboration project, to begin full-fledged management lessons, but Ha-ran feels puzzled by the sudden change in the attitude of Nana. Attention is focused on whether Nana can carry out her plans to settle her affairs without letting her granddaughters know.

Episode 5 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘In Your Radiant Season’ will air at 9:40 p.m. on the 6th, moved up by 10 minutes through expanded scheduling. Episode 6 will be preempted by live coverage of the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) Korea-Japan game and is slated to air at 9:50 p.m. on Friday the 13th.
