Vocalist K.will has marked the 19th anniversary of his debut.
Agency Starship Entertainment released a celebratory image for the 19th anniversary at midnight on the 6th via the official social media channels of K.will. The post featured various scenes of K.will celebrating the 19th anniversary and leaving what looked like commemorative snapshots, bringing smiles to fans.
Along with this, starting at 7 p.m. today, K.will is set to host the ‘K.will 19th Debut Anniversary Special Live’ via the official YouTube channel ‘Hyeongsu-neun K.will’, spending a special time with fans.
This live show is designed to express gratitude to Hyungnight (the official fan club name) for unwavering support and love over 19 years, and to share a wide range of stories related to K.will. Based on questions collected in advance, K.will plans to answer fans’ curiosities directly and engage in candid, cheerful talk. Through this, he will look back on the past 19 years and record even more meaningful moments together with fans.
Debuting on March 6, 2007 with his first full-length album ‘Oenjjok Gaseum’, K.will established himself as a vocalist listeners trust through numerous hits such as ‘Geuripgo Geuripgo Geuripda’, ‘Ireojima Jebal (Please Don’t…)’, ‘Niga Pilyohae (I Need You)’, and ‘Oneulbuteo 1-il (Day1)’. With an emotive voice and solid vocal prowess that have earned steady love, he surpassed 2 billion cumulative streams on Melon, the nation’s largest music platform, as tallied by Melon’s Hall of Fame, and earned a spot in the ‘Billions Silver Club’, proving powerful digital performance.
Building on broad popularity, he has also remained active in drama OSTs. Through the 2018 JTBC drama ‘The Beauty Inside’ OST ‘Nae Saengae Areumdaun’ and the 2016 KBS2 drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’ OST ‘Malhae! Mwohae?’, he deepened each work’s emotional arc and received great love. More recently, he sang the first OST and main theme ‘Kkun (Funky Player)’ for the tvN drama ‘Pro Bono’, helping heighten the show’s immersion.
His songs that move listeners’ hearts shine even brighter on stage. In 2024, K.will reaffirmed his refined live skills through the small-theater concert ‘All The Way(All The Way)’ and last year’s fan meeting ‘Will Dabang’. He then showcased not only stable vocals but also upgraded performance at last year’s year-end concert ‘Good Luck(Good Luck)’, demonstrating his wide-ranging capabilities as an artist.
Beyond music activities, he is also active across various content. Through his solo YouTube channel ‘Hyeongsu-neun K.will’, K.will releases diverse content every Wednesday, including ‘Hyeongsu’s Private Life’ and ‘Knowing Hyeongsu’, presenting a different charm from the stage.
