Actor Lee Kyu-seong announced on the 6th that in ENA ‘Love Doctor’ he will transform into a graduate student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering who researches robots.
The ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Love Doctor’ (directed by Ahn Pan-seok, written by Min Hyo-jeong, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Studio Goti), featuring Lee Kyu-seong, tells the story of PhD candidate Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-woo), who was a swimmer in high school but lost one leg due to illness, and master course student Im Yu-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), who lost her career path, wandered, and then set out on a new road. A romance that is spicy, bitter, and sweet, blossoming in a robotics lab, is expected to bring excitement to home viewers.
In the series, Lee plays ‘Eom Tae-ho’, a mechanical engineering graduate student in the robotics lab. He pushes robot research forward with extensive knowledge and, with an easygoing personality, serves as a core member who maintains the lab's peaceful atmosphere. In particular, among the students in the robotics lab, including Choo Young-woo, Kim So-hyun, and Kim Min, who were previously confirmed, Lee draws attention with a standout presence and is said to complete exceptional on-screen chemistry.
Having signaled a fresh transformation in ‘Love Doctor’, Lee Kyu-seong is an actor who has left a deep impression in each project he has appeared in, which further raises expectations for this appearance. In particular, in the recent ‘The Story of Manager Kim Who Works at a Large Company and Owns a Home in Seoul’, he appeared as the commercial space sales manager ‘Sesame Oil’, who deceives Kim Nak-su (played by Ryu Seung-ryong), heightening immersion in the drama, and in ‘Eunsu Good Day’, he took on the role of ‘Hwang Dong-hyun’, a member of a drug trafficking organization and a job seeker, and portrayed the character's duality three-dimensionally with solid acting. In addition, following ‘Graduation’ and ‘The Art of Negotiation’, he is joining a work directed by Ahn Pan-seok once again through this ‘Love Doctor’. As such, curiosity is growing about the new side Lee Kyu-seong will show through ‘Love Doctor’.
‘Love Doctor’, starring Lee Kyu-seong, will air this year on the ENA channel as a Monday-Tuesday drama and will be released as free VOD on KT Genie TV.
