KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ broadcast screen capture

The rookie idol group DAILY:DIRECTION (Daily:Direction, D:D) presented a one-of-a-kind ‘six members, six colors’ performance.

Daily:Direction (DAILY:DIRECTION, Jang Yoon-Seok, Lim Ji-Hwan, Kim Joo-Hyung, Lee Won-Woo, E-VAN (E-Van), EN KIM (Ann Kim)) appeared on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ aired on the afternoon of the 6th, delivering the stage for the title track ‘ROOMBADOOMBA’ (Roombadoomba) from its first single ‘FIRST:DELIVERY’ (First:Delivery), showcasing the drive of newcomers.

Daily:Direction took the stage in outfits that highlighted each member’s individuality, fully displaying free and groovy energy. Through the performance, they etched the team’s identity with solid vocal prowess and rhythm-infused, groovy choreography, captivating viewers’ eyes and ears.

The title track ‘ROOMBADOOMBA’ is an Afrobeats number that layers a dreamy energy over a rhythmic acoustic guitar. It conveys the anxiety of possibly losing one’s way when standing at a crossroads, choosing to step forward together rather than acting like someone who knows the right answer, and, despite that anxiety, a resolve not to stop.

The team name Daily:Direction (DAILY:DIRECTION) carries the meaning that ‘daily choices accumulate to create each person’s direction’. Rather than following a set right answer, they present as the group’s core narrative the story of forging their own path through trial and error and the process of choice.

Daily:Direction plans to continue active music-show promotions, starting with MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 7th.
