In the video, he drew attention by appearing while lying on a bed. Kim Seon-tae explained, “I decided to take the lowest posture so I can look up to you,” and, “As I try to keep a mindset of elevating subscribers, caring for subscribers, and staying humble and low, I ended up lying down like this.”
He then expressed his delight, saying, “Those who reached 700,000 subscribers in a single day are Jennie, Baek Jong-won, and me.” He said, “It feels like it hasn’t been long since I created the channel, yet it has already reached 1 million,” and, “I didn’t expect the channel to grow this much, so I couldn’t sleep properly for a few days.”
He added, “A lot of advertising inquiries have come in. I received about 700 emails,” and said, “Going forward, I want to create a promotion-focused channel to introduce various areas, including people, products, public-interest activities, and companies.”
He also disclosed plans for how to use the channel’s revenue. Kim Seon-tae said, “As I carry out promotions, revenue will come in, and I thought that if I kept pursuing only private gain I would be criticized,” adding, “I decided to split the channel’s revenue 7 to 3 and donate 30%.”

However, he said, “I don’t plan to do donation content often,” adding with a laugh, “If I do it often, I think I would find myself a bit nauseating.” He continued, “I do want to be of help to society, but I don’t want to look that angelic. Please think of it as me donating to put my mind at ease.”
He also said, “I think the statement that I grew on taxes is true to some extent,” adding, “I think I should give back to society accordingly.”
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-tae is a former Chungju City official who became known as ‘Chungju Man’ after drawing attention with Chungju City’s promotional content, and he left public office last month. He opened his YouTube channel on the 2nd and, in just three days, reached 1 million subscribers, drawing attention once again.
