Actor Ha Jung-woo said that his girlfriend Cha Jung-won had shown her support.

At the production presentation for the cable channel tvN new weekend drama ‘How to Become a Building Owner in Korea’ (directed by Im Pil-seong/ hereafter ‘Landlord’), held on the afternoon of the 9th at The Link Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul, when asked about Cha Jung-won’s reaction, Ha replied, “She always sends messages of support.”

He added briefly, “Just because the relationship is public doesn’t mean the voices of support get any louder. Nothing has changed.”

He went on to share how it feels to appear in a drama for the first time in 19 years: “It still doesn’t feel real. I’m also not used to being evaluated by ratings as they come in.”

He also said, “The atmosphere on set wasn’t different from a film set. So there are still parts that haven’t quite sunk in yet, but once the broadcast begins, I think I will really feel it then,” and added, “For now, I am waiting humbly for viewers’ evaluations.”

‘Landlord’ is a drama that depicts suspense unfolding as a debt-ridden, livelihood-driven building owner takes part in a fake kidnapping scheme to protect his family, more precious than life, and his building. Starring Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Joon-han, Jung Soo-jung, and Shim Eun-kyung, it will premiere on Saturday the 14th at 9:10 p.m.
