Actor Lee Seok-hyung will assert his presence as a next-generation, performance-driven talent with a distinctive appeal through the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Scarecrow’.
‘Scarecrow’ (directed by Park Jun-woo, written by Lee Ji-hyun, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Studio Anzailen) is a crime-investigation thriller that unfolds as a detective, while pursuing the real culprit behind a series of murders, enters into an unexpected cooperative relationship with the very person he despised.
Lee Seok-hyung will take on the role of Un-hee, showcasing burning tenacity as a journalist. As a passionate reporter who risks danger to dig into the truth of the serial murder case, he pursues the case together with his senior, Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young). Lee is expected to render the character with a strong sense of duty and dogged persistence, adding force to the urgent momentum of the narrative.
Having built his filmography by appearing in a variety of works, including the films ‘Grotesque Mansion’, ‘Moral Sense’, and ‘Action Hero’, and the dramas ‘The School Nurse Ahn Eun-young’, ‘Loves of City Men and Women’, ‘Racket Boys’, ‘Seaside Village Cha-Cha-Cha’, and ‘Twinkling Watermelon’, Lee Seok-hyung has drawn steady notice. He subsequently drew attention with performances that fully immersed him in the roles he took in Disney+ original series ‘Gangnam B-Side’ and ‘Fragment City’. He also left a strong impression in the film ‘It Cannot Be Helped’ with a detailed performance as a detective that heightened the narrative tension.
