The Yoon Jung-soo♥Won Jin-seo couple shared stories from the heated early days of their romance.
On the March 9 (Mon) broadcast of ‘Lovers of Joseon’, the Bae Gi-seong couple presented surprise events to each other for Valentine Day. That day, Bae invited his best friend of 30 years, Yoon Jung-soo, along with his wife, Won Jin-seo, and treated them to a lavish spread of restorative dishes, sharing a warm time together.
In the ensuing conversation, Bae revealed that, after trying for a natural pregnancy eight days in a row, he even developed sudden hearing loss. He said that, after visiting an oriental medicine clinic, he was told, “You pushed beyond your capacity, and that is why the hearing loss occurred.” However, he added that he did not want to accept it and kept denying reality, drawing laughter. Yoon then added, “Eun-bi looks way too full of energy,” turning the scene into a sea of laughter.

Yoon also shook his head, saying, “Even a perfectly healthy person would die after eight days.” He went on to confess he had faced a similar crisis: “In fact, early in our dating, my head hurt so badly that I went to a university hospital to get a CT scan. I thought a blood vessel in my brain was going to burst.” When Won Jin-seo startled everyone by hinting at the cause of the headache with, “Several times a day…,” Bae groaned, “Trying to have a baby, the dad will die first,” sparking explosive laughter.
Bae also expressed his gratitude in a letter to Yoon, who, despite being a popular star back then, took meticulous care of him during his years of obscurity. Choking up, he said, “Whenever I wanted to give up my singing career, Jung-soo was there.” Yoon, in turn, said, “The only person who listens to everything I say is Gi-seong,” revealing deep trust and moving everyone.
