Heeseung of ENHYPEN is leaving the group.

On the 10th, agency BELIFT LAB stated in an official statement, “Heeseung will separate from ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue activities as a six-member act starting with future official schedules”.

The agency explained the reason for the departure, saying, “We have reflected on and discussed the path forward for ENHYPEN and its next goals” and “We held in-depth conversations about the future each member envisions and the group direction, and in the process confirmed that the musical orientation Heeseung seeks is clear, and decided to respect this”.

They added, “It is difficult to fully explain the entire process in a short statement, but this is a decision reached after long and careful consideration” and “We know that this may be news that is hard for all fans to accept in the same way. Even so, we ask for generous understanding that this decision is a choice for the future of ENHYPEN and Heeseung”.

Although Heeseung is leaving the group, he will continue with BELIFT LAB. The agency said, “As an artist under BELIFT LAB, Heeseung plans to meet you through a solo album” and “Please extend your unwavering affection and warm support to ENHYPEN and Heeseung as they embark on new challenges”.

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is a seven-member boy group that debuted through the audition program ‘I-LAND’, produced jointly by CJ ENM and HYBE in 2020. Since then, they have remained active, releasing songs such as ‘Given-Taken’, ‘Drunk-Dazed’, ‘Blessed-Cursed’, ‘Bite Me’, and ‘Knife’.
