The global girl group GIRLSET is showing steep growth in the global music market, including the Americas, with the new song ‘Tweak’.

At midnight on March 6 (midnight in each region), GIRLSET released the new digital single ‘Tweak’ and a title track of the same name. ‘Tweak’ is a track marked by the vintage sound characteristic of late 1990s and early 2000s R&B, and its bold, confident message “Don‘t think that I’m weak” drew the attention of global fans.

With the new song, they reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in multiple overseas regions such as Mexico and Chile for the first time since debut, and set new personal bests by ranking No. 24 on the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart and No. 18 on the Pop Songs chart.

On the first day of release, the track recorded about 640,000 streams on Spotify, the largest global music streaming platform, and in the United States alone achieved more than 270,000 plays, more than doubling the figure compared with the previous release ‘Little Miss’.

On Apple Music, it surpassed a total of 180,000 plays on release day, with about 130,000 of those coming from the United States, demonstrating strong local interest. In addition, on the first day the new release stood out as U.S. digital album sales rose to about five times that of the previous release.

The music video for ‘Tweak’ is also gaining popularity. On the morning of the 7th (local time), it reached No. 1 worldwide on YouTube music video trending, and on the afternoon of release it topped the charts in the United States and Canada. Capturing viewers with the mysterious mood and captivating lines of movement of Lexi, Camila, Kendall, and Savannah, the video ranked No. 6 on YouTube Music Trending in the United States, surpassed 5.7 million views within 24 hours of release, and secured a spot in the U.S. daily Top 10 music videos for March 6.

Centered on the United States, the home of pop, GIRLSET is rapidly expanding its global presence and, backed by the success of the new song, is set to showcase even clearer signs of limitless possibilities and potential. After appearing on iHeart KPOP with Jojo Live on the 7th to perform the new track, the group is holding fan meetups in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York to connect with fans. It is also conducting diverse promotions, including interviews with major local radio stations, further broadening the scope of activities.
