She continued, “My mom and dad also use Galaxy. But is a boyfriend not a bit different from mom and dad,” and “If I think about being photographed with that phone, it really annoys me,” and “Photos from Galaxy and iPhone have a different look,” explaining her preference.
She added, “I do not remember ever having handled a Galaxy. The only people for whom I can allow Galaxy are my mom and dad. But when the Flip first came out, I also wanted to buy one. It was very pretty. It reminded me of old folder phones.” She also confessed, “I find the iPhone convenient. When I use the phone of my mother, it is too difficult.”
After the video was released, debate continued online. Some internet users reacted by posting critical comments such as “It sounds like judging people by their phone model, so it is uncomfortable,” “It seems like a remark without consideration,” “The way it was expressed was rude,” and “From the standpoint of someone who uses Galaxy, it is very unpleasant.”
On the other hand, there were also responses defending Song Ji-a, saying, “Can she not even say that much in front of a close acquaintance?”, “Many in the younger generation prefer iPhones, so that can happen,” and “She said she dislikes a ‘boyfriend’ who uses Galaxy, not a ‘person’ who uses Galaxy, so people are making a fuss.”
Meanwhile, born in 1997, Song Ji-a drew attention by appearing on Netflix ‘Singles Inferno 1’, and she is currently active as a popular YouTuber with more than 700,000 subscribers.
