Actor Lee Na-young mentioned the reaction of her husband, actor Won Bin.
On the 11th, at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul, during a wrap-up interview for the ENA MondayTuesday drama ‘Honor : Her Court’, she said, “Because our drama is not a simple story, I worried that if it does not draw you in at first, there are parts where you might drop off. But as viewers empathized a lot, we were able to take courage.”
She continued, “Maybe because it was my first time doing a genre piece, I really received many calls from people around me. And wherever I went, people kept asking about what comes next. Seeing so many people curious about what follows, I thought we are doing well and felt relieved. I thought we could keep telling the next stories, heavy but necessary ones.”
Regarding the reaction of Won Bin, she said with a laugh, “Since I would not talk about the next developments, he kept trying to sound me out. He would say, ‘This is like this, right?’ but because I would not say anything to the end, he kept watching me for clues, saying, ‘I know’, and stayed curious,” and added, “Watching him keep being that curious, I thought we are on the right track.”
When asked whether there were compliments on her acting, she laughed and said, “We watched a few episodes together, but after that I was too embarrassed to watch together, and rather than talking details, the tone was just like ‘It went over well’ and ‘Did a bit’,” and, “He gets shy when praised.”
When asked about the reaction of their child, she said, “It was rated 15 and over, so our child wanted to watch but could not,” and, “Our child finds it fascinating that mom appears on TV. At this age only cartoons are watched, so it seems a bit unreal. Seeing me on TV, our child asks, ‘Is it real?’”
‘Honor : Her Court’ concluded on the 10th, setting its highest viewership rating at 4.7%.
