Visual radio capture of Yoo Min-Sang Hungry Radio
Singers Park Gun and Sungmin revealed their close friendship through radio.
Park Gun and Sungmin appeared on the Meeting Square segment of SBS Radio Love FM ‘Yoo Min-Sang Hungry Radio,’ which aired on the afternoon of the 11th. Reuniting with DJ Yoo Min-Sang after three years, Park Gun expressed his delight and, with a witty promise to look for a blind-date partner for Yoo Min-Sang, warmly set the tone on site.
Park Gun and Sungmin have released new songs and are carrying on active promotions. Sungmin introduced his track, saying, “My self-composed ‘Gatsaeng’ is a cheering song that, in difficult times, urges you not to mind others and to walk your own path. I gain great strength when older people on the street tell me they like the song,” while Park Gun said, “‘Hit the Jackpot’ is a love song, but it is so addictive that, like ‘Have a Drink,’ it can be used in various situations,” then demonstrated it himself, drawing laughter.
With stages of ‘Under Starlight’ and ‘Hit the Jackpot,’ the two instantly turned the radio booth into a festival ground. They revealed their exceptional passion, saying, “As a dance artist, there are times when I actually cannot remember the lyrics unless I dance,” explaining that a performance ingrained from the rehearsal stage is the secret to a perfect live show.
Their bromance also shone. Speaking of Sungmin, Park Gun said, “He is an older-brother-like figure with a charm that puts people at ease. Even when we first met, I felt a warmth as if we had been friends for a long time,” and Sungmin, in turn, said, “Park Gun is very considerate and deeply affectionate. Even though we are both men, being together makes me feel as if I could melt,” continuing to praise each other.
Then Sungmin elevated the mood to its peak with a live performance of his new song ‘Gatsaeng’ that radiated his trademark passion and diligence, and Park Gun took the baton. With his hit ‘Have a Drink,’ Park Gun, together with Yoo Min-Sang and Sungmin, delivered an energetic finale with a cheerful performance and witty rewritten lyrics right to the end.
