Jang Wooyoung of 2PM closed out his solo concert series with a standalone show in Taipei.
On March 8, at Legacy TERA (Legacy TERA) in Taipei, he held a standalone performance as part of his solo concert ‘2026 Jang Wooyoung Concert < half half >’(< Half Half >), meeting local audiences. The concert series, which began in Seoul on September 27-28, 2025, continued in Tokyo on November 29-30 and Kobe on December 27-28, and culminated with this Taipei show, spanning seven dates across four regions at home and abroad.
This concert, his first-ever standalone show in Taipei since debut and the finale of ‘< half half >’, drew an especially hot response. A setlist enhanced with live band arrangements added listening pleasure, and a rich stage design that showcased both his mellow vocals and spectacular performance raised audience satisfaction.
With stages that showcased everything from delicate sound to high-caliber choreography, including the cozy mood of ‘Carpet’(Carpet), ‘Homecation’, ‘Think Too Much (Feat. DAMINI)’(Think Too Much), ‘Chill OUT’(Chill Out), the performance-forward ‘Simple dance’(Simple Dance), and ‘Sexy Lady’(Sexy Lady), the venue was filled with cheers.
During the encore, he sang part of Ha Hyunsang's ‘Lighthouse’, conveying his sincerity to fans who stood by his side like a lighthouse. Jang Wooyoung shared his thoughts: "This stage is completed only when you, who make it together with me, are here. I have kept going in the hope that it would be a concert where everyone could feel its meaning. I understand that many of you came here from various regions. I am truly grateful, and thanks to you I was happy today as well."
Last June, Jang Wooyoung released the digital single ‘Simple dance’, in September his third mini album ‘I’m into‘(I'm Into), and in December the Japanese best album ’3650.zip‘(3650.zip), actively pursuing his path as a solo artist. Alongside his music, he is appearing in various variety programs, communicating with viewers, including Netflix ’Driver: The Rival‘ and tvN ’Unpredictable[]‘, which premieres on the 13th.
