Actor Seo Eun-su ventures into the occult mystery genre for the first time with the film ‘Bawi’.

The film ‘Bawi’ is an occult mystery that digs into the secrets surrounding a giant, numinous rock deep in the mountains that is said to grant wishes. In particular, the production team behind ‘Pamyo’, which sparked an occult boom in the Korean film market, have joined forces, signaling ‘the most Korean and chilling occult’ and heightening anticipation.

Seo Eun-su plays ‘Hee-nam’, who, together with her older sister ‘Hee-jin’, harbors doubts about the death of their younger sibling ‘Hee-seon’ and pursues the truth of the case. ‘Hee-nam’ is drawn to the center of unexplainable events as she chases the questions surrounding her family member’s death, and Seo Eun-su is set to add depth to the narrative with a chilling presence and delicate emotional acting. In particular, by portraying the character’s doggedness in probing the mystery even under extreme circumstances and the complex emotions where anxiety and fear intersect, she is expected to showcase a more profound acting transformation.
