Ko Young-wook, formerly of Roo'ra, criticized actor Lee Jae-ryong, who recently caused controversy for fleeing after drunk driving, and MC Dingdong, who assaulted a female BJ, asserting that society is strict only with him.

On the 12th, Ko Young-wook posted on his social networking service (SNS) X a clip of Lee Jae-ryong recently appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Jjanhan-hyung Shin Dong-yeop’ and wrote, “So lenient like this, yet only toward me···”.

In addition, Ko Young-wook shared coverage of MC Dingdong, who was sued after assaulting a female BJ during a live broadcast of the Excel broadcast (an internet broadcast format that ranks participants by viewer donations), writing, “Even someone this vulgar is openly active in society; what are this society's standards?”

He also captured and posted a YouTube video of Lee Sang-min, formerly of Roo'ra, appearing on ‘Jjanhan-hyung’, writing, “Sang-min, stop lying. People are not fools.”

The lament by Ko Young-wook did not end there. He shared that Jennie was excessively asked for autographs on a street in France, saying, “Back in the day I also signed a fair number of autographs, but now they are of no use except when I sign at the supermarket self-checkout.”

He also reminisced about his former self, saying, “It probably will not happen, but if someone were to ask for an autograph, at this menopausal age my tear ducts might suddenly overflow for no reason.”

Ko Young-wook, who debuted in the music industry as part of Roo'ra with Lee Sang-min in 1994, served two years and six months in prison on charges of committing rape and forcible molestation against three minors on five occasions between July 2010 and December 2012. He was also given three years of electronic monitoring (electronic anklet).

After his release, Ko Young-wook attempted to engage on YouTube and Instagram, but his record as a sex offender became an issue and even opening channels was blocked.

Ko Young-wook has opened an X account and has been communicating steadily. Recently, he also criticized President Lee Jae Myung directly and indirectly.
