As ‘Singles Inferno 5’ contestant Park Hee-seon prepares to head to the U.S., attention is turning to her relationship with Im Su-bin.

On the 14th, Park Hee-seon released a video on the YouTube channel ‘Heeseony Day’ titled ‘Heeseony First Q&A | Singles Inferno 5 Behind-the-Scenes, Transfer to Seoul National University (?), Future Plans, Subscriber Nicknames’. In the video, she took time to answer questions left by fans.

First, regarding ‘the reason for going to Korea as a visiting student’, she said, “I had thought about attending school in Korea, but I assumed it would not be possible because I am Korean. Then last semester I learned it was possible, and I thought, ‘Why not try?’ so I applied.”

In response to the question of ‘how long will you stay, having come to Seoul National University as a visiting student from Carnegie Mellon University in the U.S.?’, she said, “There are classes I can take only at my home university, so I will take classes at Seoul National University for one year,” and added, “For my final semester, I plan to return to the U.S., finish, and graduate.”

Park Hee-seon also shared the behind story of the ‘piggyback shot’ that Im Su-bin uploaded to her Instagram. She explained, “The cameras were not rolling then,” and, “The sandals I was wearing could not get wet, so I went into the sea barefoot and then could not put them back on.” She continued, “That was when Subin gave me a piggyback. I was so grateful.”

She also gave a suggestive response to a question about who appeared in the game of catch in the cover music video for “Dandelion” by singer Woo Hyo that she had previously posted on YouTube. She laughed and said, “Who could it be? I think many of you will guess correctly,” effectively hinting at Im Su-bin.

Meanwhile, Park Hee-seon and Im Su-bin, who became the final couple on ‘Singles Inferno 5’, have continued to project a subtle ‘real-life couple’ vibe even after the show ended. Although they have not publicly acknowledged that they are dating, they mention each other naturally, and among fans they are effectively regarded as a ‘real-life couple’.

However, with Park Hee-seon scheduled to return to the U.S. for her studies, there is also interest in how their relationship will continue.
