‘Divorced Singles’ Lee Ah-young announced that she plans to remarry Shim Gyu-deok in December.

On the 16th, when asked on her Instagram about the status of her wedding preparations, she replied, “I tried to start, but I got a headache and could not get anything done.” On the 17th, she added, “Wedding preparations are too complicated. Shim Gyu-deok and I have completely opposite tastes,” and explained, “Since I am not good at multitasking, I plan to prepare after resigning.” Lee Ah-young further said regarding the timing of the wedding, “We are expecting this December.”

As for why she decided to remarry, she said, “We met at a time when I could not trust men, but through steady effort he gave me a sense of stability.” In particular, she drew attention by noting the thoughtful care shown by Shim Gyu-deok: “He always made sure I ate three meals a day. Even when he was busy or on business trips, he had meals delivered to my place.”

When asked whether they had saved much for the wedding funds, she joked, “Gyu-deok will take the income role. I am on the spending side.” She added, “I am kidding, and we have saved a little, even though life has had many ups and downs.”

Meanwhile, Lee Ah-young was the runner-up in the 2013 Miss Maxim contest and is currently working as a nursing assistant. She became known to the public after appearing on the MBN program ‘Divorced Singles 1’, and she is reported to have a daughter for whom she does not have custody following her divorce. Shim Gyu-deok is a lawyer who graduated from Seoul National University and appeared on ‘Divorced Singles 5’. The two met through an acquaintance in January of last year and are in a public relationship.
