Singer-songwriter UmYull has kicked off 2026 with the new single ‘Baramjabi’.

Released on March 18, ‘Baramjabi’ is a pre-release track from the second full-length album scheduled for the latter half of this year, further expanding UmYull’s signature sensibility and narrative. Upon release, it received positive responses from listeners, raising expectations for the forthcoming album.

Notably, the ‘Baramjabi’ music video features the return of a character that appeared in the music video for UmYull’s hit ‘Picha Ilban’, drawing attention. By extending the existing universe, it offers fans a welcome surprise and completes a ‘unified universe’ that connects into a single narrative.

Prior to this, on March 16, marking the 4th anniversary of the debut, UmYull renamed and rearranged the earlier track ‘Maeumui Hyeongtae’ as ‘Maeumui Hyeongtae (With You)’ and released it. Carrying a message of gratitude to fans, the reimagined song elicited a warm response.

With both tracks released to favorable feedback from fans, UmYull has made a refreshing start to 2026.

Meanwhile, UmYull is set to hold a 4th-anniversary fan concert, ‘Choan’, on April 12, and plans to pursue more varied and active activities than ever throughout the year.
