Actor Han Sun-hwa takes on a project that fuses horror and comedy.
Han Sun-hwa transforms into an ardent MZ student teacher in the film ‘Teaching Practicum,’ which won two awards at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
On the 8th, Studio Santaclaus Entertainment, the film distributor, released new stills of Han Sun-hwa.

‘Teaching Practicum’ is a high school ‘horror-ble’ comedy about Eun-kyung, an ardent MZ student teacher who, in the face of a college entrance exam ghost, ends up taking a deadly mock test, and the girls of a black magic club.
From the films ‘Pilot’ and ‘First Ride’ to the dramas ‘Drinking City Women,’ ‘The Woman Who Plays Along,’ and ‘Convenience Store Saet-byul,’ she has delivered grounded performances, and here she plays the student teacher Eun-kyung.
Eun-kyung is someone whose sense of duty comes before any fear of scolding from the principal; at times she gives off an old-school vibe and at times an MZ vibe, yet her care and passion for students are more sincere than anyone else. She meets the ‘Kuroi Sora’ trio of the black magic club and digs into their secrets.

The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, which last year presented Han Sun-hwa with the Korean Fantastic Actor Award, stated, “In addition to a firmly defined character, she realized natural everyday acting without any sense of dissonance.” In response, Han Sun-hwa shared her delight: “I encountered the completed film for the first time through this festival, and I am happy because it seems to have turned out as well as everyone worked for it. It made me think, ‘So this must be why I want to keep acting.’”
The film ‘Teaching Practicum,’ which offers another character unique to Han Sun-hwa, will open exclusively at CGV on the 13th of next month.
