The group AMPERS&ONE is making a comeback to the music scene on the 8th with their 4th mini album ‘DEFINITION’(Definition).
This comeback comes about eight months after their third mini album released last August. Starting with a concept film, AMPERS&ONE has rolled out a variety of comeback promotions. In particular, by signaling a perfect blend of concept, music, and performance, they drew global fans' attention. Here are three key points to look forward to.
#. A ‘visual hotspot’ proven by three sets of concept photos
As part of the comeback promotions, AMPERS&ONE unveiled three versions of concept photos. The ‘WE’ version portrays wandering youth; the ‘ARE’ version presents a sharpened sense of presence; and the ‘HERE’ version shows a more complete self, depicting the process of defining themselves. This aligns with the album slogan ‘& NOW, WE ARE HERE.’, heightening curiosity.
On top of that, the members flawlessly pulled off everything from natural styling to accessories that are both traditional and trendy, hitting a visual peak. In particular, deeper gazes, delicate facial acting, and a variety of poses came together to maximize their multifaceted charm and further boost immersion.
#. A more defined team color… a new chapter ahead
The 4th mini album ‘DEFINITION’ is an album in which AMPERS&ONE looks back on the group's present and defines the direction they will pursue. True to an album title that means ‘definition’, they aim to set their own identity and course and establish the standards by which they will move forward.
The title track ‘GOD’(God) carries lyrics that pray for protection and the resolve to rise again, creating an unusual sonic intersection where East-leaning sounds meet dance. Na Camden and Makaya took part in writing the lyrics for every track on this album, including the title track, infusing the group's identity. Through lyrics that unfold a deeper musical color and message, AMPERS&ONE is poised to deliver a new chapter of their story.
#. Intuitive choreography + Korean dance + razor-sharp performance... a fully realized stage
Earlier, AMPERS&ONE drew intense interest by previewing parts of the track and performance in the title song's music video teaser. Even in a short clip, the repeated word ‘GOD’ over the melody and prayer-like, intuitive choreography combined to create strong addictiveness. In addition, they simultaneously showcased the soft yet restrained movements of Korean dance and a razor-sharp performance that highlights the members' teamwork, making it impossible to look away.
Following album promotions, AMPERS&ONE will carry the momentum with their first solo concert in Seoul on May 2, kicking off the 2026 live tour ‘Born To Define’(Born To Define). Along with a diverse musical spectrum, they are expected to present highly polished stages for their new songs, offering a rich array of things to enjoy.
