A variety show personally designed by Jang Dong-min, who has won multiple brain-survival competitions, is coming.

The new Netflix variety show “Jang Dong-min’s Brain Survival” (working title), designed by Jang Dong-min and directed by “Bloody Game” PD Hyun Jeong-wan, is being produced. Applications open on the 8th.

Jang has captured four survival-game titles, from “The Genius: Black Garnet” and “The Genius: Grand Final” to “Society Game 2” and “Bloody Game 3.”

Jang said, “This time, joining hands with Netflix and PD Hyun Jeong-wan, I am taking on the role of master for the first time in my life. I plan to distill my experience and know-how to design every game and to present a ruthless brain-survival variety show worthy of being called an extreme survival game.”

In the released recruitment video, Jang appears with a solemn expression amid a grim mood, heightening expectations for an extreme survival game. The striking phrase “Survive, or be erased” and the provocative message that arrives on a mobile phone, “Are you confident?”, spark curiosity about who will answer Jang’s dangerous invitation that demands staking everything.

Jang added, “In the world of games, there are blind spots the production team can never know. I will fill the gaps that only someone who has actually won can recognize. I will pour in all my experience and know-how to present a work that fans of brain-survival shows can enjoy.”

Meanwhile, applications for the unpredictable, extreme survival-game brain-survival show by Jang Dong-min and PD Hyun Jeong-wan are available from the 8th, and it can be found only on Netflix.
