Ten-million-ticket actor Park Ji-hoon returns with the TVING original on the OTT platform, ‘Becoming a Legendary Cook’.
Scheduled for its first domestic and global release at 8:50 p.m. on May 11, the TVING original ‘Becoming a Legendary Cook’ (screenplay Choi Ryong, director Cho Nam-hyeong, planning Studio Dragon, production Studio Dragon, Studio N, provided by TVING) is a military cooking-show fantasy drama that portrays private Kang Seong-jae, who swaps a rifle for a chef's knife and a bandolier for an apron, as he is reborn as a ‘legendary cook’.
Based on the popular Naver Webtoon of the same name, ‘Becoming a Legendary Cook’ (written/drawn by J Robin/Lee Jin-su), it is drawing intense attention as the next project of Park Ji-hoon, who rose to the ranks of ten-million-ticket actors with the film ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’. Meanwhile, the first poster of cook private Kang Seong-jae, capturing Park Ji-hoon taking off a royal robe and putting on a chef uniform, has been unveiled, piquing curious interest.
