Jungkook of BTS and Jisoo of BLACKPINK are in a tight race for first place in the global fandom platform UPICK’s ongoing ‘April Pick of the Month’ vote.

With voting set to end on the 20th and intense competition continuing among strong candidates, the vote is being held across four categories: ▲K-pop Artist (Male/Female) ▲Idol Rookie (Male/Female).

In the K-pop Artist category, Jungkook of BTS, Jisoo of BLACKPINK, NI-KI of ENHYPEN, and Irene of Red Velvet are maintaining top positions, demonstrating their global popularity.

Momentum is also strong in the Idol Rookie category. ANDouble Zhang Hao, Alphadriveone Arno, ZEROBASEONE Kim Ji-woong, BABYMONSTER Ahyeon, and ILLIT Wonhee are among the nominees and are receiving overwhelming support from fans.

In particular, Heeseung, the winner of last month ‘Pick of the Month’, and BABYMONSTER member Ahyeon are currently near the top, drawing attention to whether they can defend No. 1 this month as well.

The four artists who take first place in each category will receive a COEX Media Tower billboard advertisement in Samseong-dong, Seoul, as a reward, further heating up voting as fans aim to showcase their artists in the heart of downtown Seoul.

Meanwhile, UPICK plans to begin the ‘April Best Pick’ vote for the first- to third-place artists in each category on the 20th, simultaneously with the close of the ‘April Pick of the Month’ vote.

In addition to the ‘Pick of the Month’, UPICK is also running a variety of themed votes, including ‘May Birthday Idols’, ‘Best Position Match - Dancer’, and ‘Best Vocal Tone Master’.
