Singer and actress IU and actor Byeon Woo-seok candidly shared the behind-the-scenes of a buzzworthy kiss scene in their new drama, drawing the attention of prospective viewers.

In the trailer released on the YouTube channel ‘Salon Drip’ on the 7th, IU, Byeon Woo-seok, Noh Sang-hyun, and Gong Seung-yeon, the four leads of the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘21st-Century Grand Consort’, appeared as guests. In the video, the actors shared behind-the-scenes stories about the so-called ‘wall kiss scene’, which has been drawing fervent attention among fans even before the show airs.

Byeon Woo-seok was the first to convey the vivid atmosphere on set. He looked back on the moment with a playful, lighthearted tone, saying, “When you film a kiss scene, your noses touch, right? It was moist because the weather was hot.”

Then Noh Sang-hyun, who was there with them, suddenly asked the pair a blunt question: “How many times did you kiss?” IU coolly replied, “We did it countless times,” prompting cheers on set. Byeon Woo-seok also agreed, saying, “We filmed that scene a lot,” suggesting the exceptional dedication the two actors poured into crafting the perfect take.
