Idol group KickFlip (KickFlip) recorded strong results with its new album.

On the 6th, KickFlip made a comeback by releasing its fourth mini album ‘My First Kick’ (My First Kick) and the title track ‘I Want to Be an Eyesore’. The new album captures the clumsy first attempts of youth, for whom everything is new, and a continuing first-love story.

The new album ‘My First Kick’ topped the Hanteo Chart Daily Album Chart and the Circle Chart Daily Retail Album Chart dated April 6. It also made appearances on iTunes K-pop album charts in several overseas regions, including Denmark, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States, showcasing its potential.

The title track ‘I Want to Be an Eyesore’ was co-written and composed by leader Gyehoon, who drew attention for his sly banter, completing a straightforward confession song unique to KickFlip. With lyrics that dash toward first love without hesitation, it expresses the group’s bubbly love energy. On the day of release, the new song reached No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart, and all tracks from the new release entered the charts, proving the heated interest in ‘Kick-ral’ (KickFlip-style liveliness).

At 7 p.m. on the day of the comeback, through Mnet M2’s ‘A Comeback Show That Annoys From Start to Finish’, they staged performances of the pre-released track ‘Twenty’ (Twenty), the b-side ‘Backwards’, the title track ‘I Want to Be an Eyesore’, and ‘My Direction’ (My Direction), boosting viewers’ excitement. They added variety to the comeback show with cover performances, special videos, and talk time. In addition, at 8 p.m., they held an offline fan showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, demonstrating stage prowess befitting ‘next-generation stage masters’.

KickFlip’s fourth mini album ‘My First Kick’ and the title track ‘I Want to Be an Eyesore’ are available on various music platforms. Through the 13th, a pop-up store commemorating the new album’s release will be held at LCDC SEOUL in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
