Idol group NEXZ (NEXZ) has unveiled content that sends anticipation for their new release soaring.

NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, Yuki) will release their second single ‘Mmchk’ on the 27th. After announcing their comeback with a trailer video posted on their official SNS channels on the 6th, they heightened curiosity by revealing the online cover image for the new release on the afternoon of the 7th and the timetable video at 12 a.m. on the 8th.

The online cover image for the second single captures a radiant smile with ‘Mmchk’ smeared around the mouth. In contrast to the trailer’s earlier references to ‘proper posture, quiet dining, dignified demeanor,’ its free and cheerful mood grabbed attention. The timetable video lifted the veil on the schedule before and after the release, as if celebratory bursts were going off around a person making their presence known and getting fully ready. According to it, NEXZ will open photos on the 8th, videos on the 9th~10th and 13th, photos on the 14th~15th, and videos on the 16th~17th and 20th~26th in sequence.

Along with the teasing content, offline events were also announced. At 1 p.m. on April 26, the day before the comeback, they will hold <“Mmchk” : The Pre-Listening Party>(“Mmchk” : The Pre-Listening Party), and at 8 p.m. on the 27th, the album release day, they will hold a comeback showcase to make special memories with fans. Then, they will stage the (NEXZ Global Showcase Event) in Taipei on May 4, Hong Kong on June 6, and Bangkok on July 4, with additional performance locations to be announced.

The second single ‘Mmchk’ is a comeback release roughly six months after the October 2025 mini album ‘Beat-Boxer,’ and it is drawing expectations as a work set to propel NEXZ’s upward momentum. Pouring in full energy to deliver powerful performances on every stage, the seven members of NEXZ are set to make an unrestrained leap in 2026 with the unconventional vibe of ‘Mmchk’.

The second single ‘Mmchk,’ which will let listeners savor freedom together with ‘JYP global rising star’ NEXZ, will be officially released at 6 p.m. on April 27, and pre-orders will be available through FANS SHOP (Fans Shop) and various online music retailers until April 26.
