Actor Yoon Byung-hee Noon Company
Actor Yoon Byung-hee announced on the 8th that he will appear in the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Brave New World’.
Premiering in May, ‘Brave New World’ is a romantic comedy that feels like a hair-trigger war between the once-unknown actor Shin Seori (portrayed by Im Ji-yeon), who becomes ‘vicious’ after being possessed by the soul of a notorious Joseon-era villainess, and the ruthless chaebol Cha Segye (portrayed by Heo Nam-jun), called a monster of capitalism.
In the story, Yoon Byung-hee plays Son Jae-han, chief of staff at the company ‘BioJ’. He is a fiercely loyal figure who stays by the side of the unpredictable Cha Segye and does his utmost. Though often swept up by the ruthless work style of Cha Segye, at decisive moments he speaks his mind without reserve and earns trust, revealing a surprising side. Expectations are high for Yoon Byung-hee to inject vitality into the series with his uniquely flavorful acting.
Yoon Byung-hee has made his presence felt with distinctive performances in ‘Mr. Sunshine’, ‘Our Blues’, ‘Stove League’, ‘Vincenzo’, and ‘Lady Ok-ssi’. Last year, he also drew praise from viewers for showcasing a wide acting spectrum in the dramas ‘Your Taste’, ‘Gyeonwoo and the Fairy’, and ‘My Youth’.
With the recent release of the film ‘Method Acting’ and news of his casting in the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Oneuldo Maejin Haetseumnida’, he continues a busy run in 2026, and attention is focused on the diverse charms that Yoon Byung-hee will showcase.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Brave New World’, featuring Yoon Byung-hee, will premiere in May.
