TV personality Seo Jeong-hee shared an update about how difficult it has been while caring for her mother.

On the 9th, through her social media (SNS), Seo Jeong-hee said, “It has been a while. During that time, my mom was very ill and had been admitted to the hospital. I was exhausted and it was very hard. She has now been discharged, but I still have to take her to the hospital for outpatient visits.”

This post is her first update in about a month, and it was understood that the reason for the quiet period was the worsening health of her mother and the caregiving.

She said that even amid the difficult time, she found comfort in the sights of spring. “Meanwhile, the cherry blossoms in front of my home are in full bloom. Each petal swaying toward the sky falls onto my face,” and added, “It has been three years since I faced the cherry blossoms, and this year as I waited for when I might meet them, I briefly came home due to caring for my mom, and suddenly the cherry blossoms came into view from afar.”

She continued, “A brief spring, a time like a fleeting dream,” and wrote, “This lovely moment, because I know it is short, I try even more not to miss it. For this moment, I want to remain within the cherry blossoms.”

She also conveyed the comfort given by the cherry blossoms, saying, “Since we will part soon, I had better hurry to meet them this morning as well.”

Meanwhile, Seo Jeong-hee divorced Seo Se-won after 32 years of marriage, and she is currently in a public relationship with an architect six years younger. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and underwent treatment, and she regained her health with support from her partner.
