The open-world RPG ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’ from Netmarble ranked No. 1 in the free-to-play category on the PlayStation Store (PS Store) in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
In the North American free-game rankings, it was the only Korean title to enter the upper tier, and it also took No. 1 in Asia.
‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’ has also performed well on Steam, the PC platform. It achieved notable positions on major regional bestseller charts, including No. 1 in France, No. 3 in BelgiumㆍItaly and Japan, No. 4 in KoreaㆍGermany, and No. 7 in Brazil.
Netmarble carried out the first update since launch on the 8th. This update adds a new hero, ‘Daisy’, a mysterious figure involved in crafting the ‘Book of Stars’. Daisy is an original character who does not appear in the source material, a fairy from the distant past who has been creating mysterious artifacts together with explorers of various races.
The SSR-grade Daisy is a versatile hero specialized in crafting content, with an Adventure skill that expands the slots of the portable crafting table.
Alongside this, a new difficulty level, ‘Abyss’, was added to the boss dungeon. The ‘Abyss’ difficulty is designed around a combat structure that targets boss elemental weaknesses and requires strategic hero compositions that leverage attribute-specific burst effects. This offers players higher growth goals and the enjoyment of strategic combat.
To commemorate achieving No. 1 on the PlayStation Store and this update, Netmarble is giving all users an ‘SSR Permanent Hero Selection Ticket’. With this item, one can choose one from Elaine, King, Guila, Jericho, Manny, Drake, and Diane. Various other rewards and benefits, including hero growth materials, are also prepared.
