The global band hrtz.wav (Hatz Wave) is set to unleash the youthful energy they have condensed so far through full-fledged debut activities.
Kakao Entertainment (co-CEOs Go Jeong-hee and Jang Yoon-jung) said that hrtz.wav (Hatz Wave) will appear on Mnet ‘M Countdown’ airing on the 9th and, for the first time on broadcast, unveil stage performances of the title track ‘NINETEEN(NINETEEN)’ and the B-side ‘Eoribeori’ from their first mini album ‘The First Wave(The First Wave)’.
hrtz.wav (Hatz Wave) is set to bring the narrative of youth to life with energetic ensemble playing and refreshing vocals. The distinctive charms of each memberYoon Young-jun (keyboard), Rian (vocal), Dain (bass), Kayten (guitar), and Hagiwa (drums)as well as their explosive synergy, are expected to capture the eyes and ears of global fans.
Having taken the stage after forming the team on ‘M Countdown’ this past January, hrtz.wav (Hatz Wave) makes a triumphant return to the same stage about three months later to present their official debut performance. Anticipation is building for their reinforced teamwork and elevated live performance developed through preparations and the formal debut.
The first mini album ‘The First Wave’ that hrtz.wav (Hatz Wave) released on the 8th is an album that carries the aspiration that the five members, each with different frequencies, gather in a silent world to create their first wave. By unfolding the subtle and complex emotions of youthexcitement and confusion, love and breakupthrough the uniquely dynamic band sound of the group, it is earning favorable reviews.
The title track ‘NINETEEN’ is a song in the Youth Pop-Rock(Youth Pop-Rock) genre, with all five members participating in lyric writing to add authenticity and to embody an iconic team identity. The producing team Byeoldeurui Jeonjaeng *(GALACTIKA *), known as K-pop hitmakers, took charge of production, raising its quality.
The self-composed song ‘Eoribeori’ by members Rian and Dain portrays the clumsy love of youth, standing out for a dreamy mood within its briskness. In addition, ‘Dream(Dream)’, ‘Highlight(Highlight)’, ‘I AM SO FINE(I AM SO FINE)’, and ‘Our Own Story(Close To Me)’ are included, bringing the total to six tracks.
