Actor Oh Dae-hwan shared his thoughts on filming ‘Mismatch’.

On the 9th, a press screening for ‘Mismatch’ was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk Univ. Entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. In attendance were actor Oh Dae-hwan, along with Oh Yoon-ah, Ahn Seok-hwan, Lee Jun-hyuk, Shin Su-yeon, and director Son Tae-woong.

That day, Oh Dae-hwan said, “Because I have worked in supporting roles for a long time, there are not many projects in which I have taken the lead,” and “I think I felt a great sense of responsibility on this one.”

He continued, “I tried to do my best in every scene, but it was the COVID period, so the filming environment was not easy,” and added, “Time was tight, and it was busy and hard, but it is a film we all completed together.” He also added with a laugh, “As a father of four, I have no choice but to work hard.”

Bong-su, the protagonist of the film ‘Mismatch,’ is a lethargic breadwinner who lives unable to hold his head high either at home or at work. He is someone whose life keeps shrinking in a reality where even his family does not acknowledge him. He once dreamed of becoming an actor and worked as an unknown stage actor, but for practical reasons he set aside that dream and settled into reality; in this respect, he connects with Oh Dae-hwan, who also began on the theater stage.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Mismatch’ by director Son Tae-woong is a human comedy that follows Bong-su (played by Oh Dae-hwan), a family man who loses his memory overnight, as he rebuilds his relationship with a now unfamiliar family, and it opens on the 23rd.
