MBN ‘Nameless Legend’ broadcast capture

Singer Park Min-soo dramatically advanced to Round 3 of the main competition on “Nameless Legend.”

On the April 8 broadcast of MBN’s mega-scale trot audition “Nameless Legend - Rank War of Trot Men” (hereinafter “Nameless Legend”), Park Min-soo appeared and contested the Round 2 main-competition “Unknown vs. Known Team Death Match.”

The day’s stage featured a classic trot showdown between fourth-year singer Park Min-soo and tenth-year Choi Woo-jin, drawing attention even before it began. Before the head-to-head, Park heightened the tension by issuing a declaration of war with a three-line acrostic aimed at his senior, Choi Woo-jin.

In the following performance, Park chose Na Hoon-a’s “Branch School.” With steady vocal delivery and stage manners, he drew the audience in, and his rich tone moved listeners’ hearts, leaving a deep afterglow.

Immediately after the stage, Cho Hang-jo offered high praise, saying, “Mr. Park Min-soo didn’t just sing; he unfolded it as a story remarkably well,” adding, “You have improved a lot, so I will give you a big round of applause.”

The vote showed a neck-and-neck contest. The Top Pro Team scores ended in a tie, keeping the outcome hard to predict, and in the final tally, Park narrowly lost to Choi Woo-jin by just eight points.

However, in the announcement of additional qualifiers, Park was chosen by Joo Hyun-mi and advanced to Round 3. With Joo Hyun-mi’s selection creating a dramatic reversal, anticipation is building for what kind of stages he will present next.

MBN’s “Nameless Legend,” featuring Park Min-soo, airs every Wednesday at 9:40 p.m.
