Jimin of BTS (RM, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, Suga) announced the start of a new world tour.

On the afternoon of the 11th at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, during the BTS world tour ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN GOYANG’, he said, “We released our new album ‘Arirang’ after four years, and we are going back on a world tour after six and a half years,” and added, “It seems the response today is even better.”

He said, “I think the voices of ARMY are coming through very clearly,” and “With the album and with this show, we worked to try many new things in various ways, so please enjoy it.”

Suga added, “This ‘Arirang’ tour is one we prepared extensively to show our new side. As we are trying new things, it may feel unfamiliar, but please do your best to enjoy it.”

V was excited, saying, “It has been a really long time since we have performed on a 360-degree stage. Being surrounded 360 degrees by ARMY makes me feel so good.”

The BTS world tour ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’ will begin in Goyang and unfold over 85 shows across 34 cities, including Tokyo, North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. This is the highest number of dates for a single tour by a Korean artist. In addition, extra shows are planned in Japan and the Middle East, further expanding the scale of the tour.
