The girl group Kiss of Life (KISS OF LIFE) has newly reimagined veteran singer Kim Yeon-ja’s ‘Amor Fati’.

Kiss of Life (hereafter, KIOF) appeared on KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’, in the composer Yoon Il-sang special that aired on the 11th.

Julie, making her first appearance on ‘Immortal Songs’ in the three years since debut, shared her thoughts: “Because Natty and I spent a long time as trainees, this was a dream program. Also, being able to appear on a show we used to watch at home with our parents and greet everyone like this feels especially meaningful.”

They were singled out by fellow contestants, including Tours and Takenaka Yudai, as the ‘most formidable opponents’ and drew attention even before the start, then surprised everyone by choosing veteran Kim Yeon-ja’s mega-hit ‘Amor Fati’.

The members said, “We put as much effort into this stage as we did into preparing for our comeback with the new song ‘Who is she (Who is she)’. From the stage layout and arrangement direction to creating the choreography, the members took the lead and infused it with our own color.”

Taking the stage with a concept reminiscent of a karaoke party, KIOF turned the venue into a festival by adding solid vocals, Julie’s original rap, and a flashy dance break. While preserving the exuberance of the original, they added a trendy touch that earned applause from the audience and fellow performers.

Composer Yoon Il-sang, who wrote the original, expressed his affection: “My favorite girl group is Kiss of Life. I’m such a fan that I want to give them a song myself.” He lavished praise, saying, “It was a performance that felt like giving artificial respiration to the 2026 version of ‘Amor Fati’.”
