Tomorrow X Together (TXT) are expanding their reach with the public ahead of their comeback through active appearances on variety shows.
Tomorrow X Together (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) are set to release their 8th mini album on April 13, ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Brambles’, and they are appearing one after another on everything from music quiz shows to talk shows and YouTube live broadcasts, engaging in communication on all fronts. With a friendly charm not seen on stage, they are drawing interest from the general public beyond the fandom.
Tomorrow X Together made their presence felt on TV variety programs. Yeonjun and Taehyun showcased their vocal skills and sense of humor on tvN ‘Amazing Thursday’, and Soobin, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu appeared on ‘Amazing Saturday’, delivering laughs with characters that reflected their own personalities.
Their momentum continued in YouTube content. The five members appeared on the YouTube ‘Jipdaeseong’ channel on the 10th, drawing attention. Touring HYBE's Yongsan headquarters with their senior in the music industry, BIGBANG's Daesung, they displayed natural chemistry. They also candidly shared various stories, including their thoughts on their 7th debut anniversary and practice room episodes, revealing honest sides of themselves. The web variety show ‘Salon Drip’ featuring Soobin and Yeonjun became a focal point of buzz; the bickering chemistry of the two, who have opposite dispositions, captured viewers' interest and surpassed 1 million views just four days after release.
They even covered YouTube live broadcasts. Yeonjun and Soobin appeared on ‘LOOKSAM’, ‘I Absolutely Hate Scary Things’, respectively, becoming a hot topic. In particular, Soobin immersed himself in scary stories, breaking into a cold sweat, and at one point threw himself into host Yoo Byung-jae's arms; these moments are drawing a heated response across various social media platforms.
Tomorrow X Together are boosting buzz ahead of their comeback by showing a human side different from their conceptual onstage image. Their appearance on ‘TXT's Parenting Diary’, which will be released on Wavve (Wavve) on May 1, has also been announced, further heightening expectations for Tomorrow X Together's activities. ‘TXT's Parenting Diary’ is a parenting-observation reality program with a baby, and it is expected to provide healing as they, though inexperienced, interact sincerely with the baby.
Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together will release their new record at 6 p.m. on April 13. This is their first group album since all members signed renewed contracts with their agency BigHit Music last year. The title track ‘Just One More Day (Stick With You)’ is an Electro pop (Electro pop) genre song that portrays the ache of wanting to hold on to a love whose end is in sight. The yearning contained in the song can also be interpreted as the five members' determination toward their dreams.
