Comedian Hong Hyun-Hee recalled her son’s daycare graduation and confessed that she is going through menopause.

On the 11th, the YouTube channel ‘Tteun Tteun’ released a video titled ‘Prime Time Is Just an Excuse’. In the video, Heo Kyung-Hwan and Hong Hyun-Hee appeared as guests and talked about various topics.

That day, Heo Kyung-Hwan said to Hong Hyun-Hee, “Didn’t Jun-beom (your son) start elementary school this time? I saw the video.” But Hong Hyun-Hee corrected him, saying, “He’s only fivewhat elementary school are you talking about?”, prompting laughter. It turned out the video was not about entering elementary school but about a daycare graduation ceremony.

Hong Hyun-Hee looked back, “He attended for two years and graduated, and I was so grateful to the teacher that I burst into tears.” Heo Kyung-Hwan said, “You kept crying, so I thought it was his elementary school entrance.” Hong playfully tapped his face with a fan and shot back, “It’s menopause. The timing just overlapped,” turning the set into laughter.

The conversation naturally flowed into experiences parents could relate to. Yoo Jae-Seok empathized, saying, “When you become a parent, you tear up even when your kids just graduate from kindergarten,” and Ji Suk-Jin also recalled memories related to his children.

Ji Suk-Jin added, “I still remember when my kids first said something other than ‘mom, dad,’” and continued, “When they were two, I was putting on their shoes and they said, ‘This side, too.’ That moment when my eyes met my wife’s still hasn’t faded even after 20 years.”
