The ‘all-rounder band’ Ghost Bookstore etched its presence with its very first appearance at the ‘Sangsang Realization Festival’.

On the 11th, Ghost Bookstore took the stage at the ‘2026 KT&G Sangsang Realization Festival Chuncheon’, held at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Art Center in Gangwon, and met with the audience.

That day, Ghost Bookstore opened with an intro performance highlighted by a dreamy sound, then heightened the feeling of spring by presenting in succession lyrical pieces such as ‘Birthday’, ‘Ghost Bookstore’, ‘Spring Song’, and ‘Firefly’.

Next, Ghost Bookstore unveiled the unreleased track ‘Eddy’, drawing an enthusiastic response. The fusion of diverse genresshoegaze, post-rock, modern rock, math rock, and garagethat defines Ghost Bookstore, along with literary lyrics, was more than enough to deepen audience immersion.

For the finale, Ghost Bookstore selected its first single released in 2024, ‘Children Through Whom the Blood of Stars Flows’, delivering a story that was both dazzling and heartrending.

With its first appearance at the ‘Sangsang Realization Festival’, Ghost Bookstore revealed a musical color that is both sturdy and delicate, leaving a deep lingering impression on the audience.

Meanwhile, in December last year, Ghost Bookstore signed an exclusive contract with tapes (Teipseu), a label under the comprehensive entertainment company Mound Media. Since then, the band has continued active activities, appearing on various stages such as ‘Countdown Fantasy 2025-2026 (COUNTDOWN FANTASY 2025-2026)’ , the Taichung, Taiwan festival ‘Emerge Fest 2026 (EMERGE FEST 2026)’ and more.

On the 18th, Ghost Bookstore is also set to present a singular joint performance based on the math rock genre at the Korea-Japan indie music exchange project ‘Reciprocity 2026’, together with the Japanese band Suichu Spica (スイチュウスピカ, Suichu Spica).
