Singer-songwriter Song Sohee successfully concluded the ‘Lovesome Festival’, heralding the start of spring.

On the 12th, Song Sohee met with the audience at the ‘2026 Lovesome (LOVESOME) Festival’ held at the open-air theater of Yonsei University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

The ‘Lovesome Festival’ is a festival with the concept of enjoying music and books together by selecting a book of the year annually. This year, it joined with the book ‘Joseon Art Museum’, which captures special moments from the cultural heyday of the Joseon era. This planning intent aligns with the musical world of Song Sohee, who reinterprets tradition in a modern way, resulting in a stage of greater depth.

Song Sohee opened with ‘Deer God’, a track from the EP ‘Aerial Dance’, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. She then heated up the venue by successively presenting ‘Broken Things’ from the EP ‘Re:5’ and the title track ‘Hamba Kahle(HambaKahle)’. Stage direction employing Korean traditional architectural elements, combined with her distinctive traditional vocal technique, offered profound emotion and romance.

Additionally, Sohee implemented the festival concept with high completeness through an experimental setlist that, while rooted in tradition, crossed genre boundaries, including ‘Alaska's Love-hae’, ‘Cloud Cape Journey’, ‘Not a Dream(Not a Dream)’, ‘Sparkle Playground’, ‘Aerial Dance’, and ‘A BLIND RUNNER(A Blind Runner)’. In particular, she maximized audience immersion with movements that seemed to become one with the music.

For the finale, Song Sohee presented the disco-based ‘The World is Topsy-Turvy’, pushing the concert atmosphere to its peak. Carrying a somewhat skeptical yet realistic message that ‘the world is just like that’, the song delivered a weighty resonance regarding a complicated world and received high praise from the audience.

With a wide musical spectrum and commanding stage manners, Song Sohee captivated the audience and further solidified her presence as a contemporary singer-songwriter.

In March, Song Sohee announced the signing of an exclusive contract with Authentic, signaling new musical endeavors.
