Singer Jeong Hye-rin took part in a global music festival held in the Philippines, delivering a special stage for international fans.

On the 11th, Jeong Hye-rin appeared at ‘SBTown Music Fiesta 2 (SBTown Music Fiesta 2)’ in the Philippines, showcasing her presence as a global artist. The event featured performances by Philippine girl group YGIG, hip-hop duo GY, and solo artist ADEA, completing a rich program.

‘SBTown Music Fiesta 2’ is co-hosted by Philippine events and entertainment company SBTown (SBTown) and Goobne Chicken, a global show where Korean and Philippine artists gather to share music and culture. This concert was held under the main theme of ‘Friendship and Exchange Across Cultures’.

Taking the stage, Jeong Hye-rin filled her set with a diverse selection. She performed her own songs ‘A Mother’s Handwritten Letter’ and ‘Sharreureu Sharreureu’, as well as Gummy’s ‘Please Remember All My Days and That Time’ and Filipino singer Moira Dela Torre’s ‘Kumpas’, leading a musical communion that transcended borders.

Showcasing a wide-ranging set from ballads to upbeat dance tracks, she conveyed each song’s mood with steady vocals and an easy stage manner, earning a strong response from the local audience.

She also took part in a scholarship presentation honoring the courage and dedication of the Philippine Expeditionary Forces to Korea (PEFTOK) who fought in the Korean War. She presented scholarships to five students who are descendants of veterans, adding significance that extended beyond music to cultural exchange and solidarity.

Jeong Hye-rin became known to the public by finishing 13th on TV Chosun’s ‘Miss Trot 4’, and has since continued active musical promotions with ‘Sharreureu Sharreureu’.
