Broadcaster Park Myung-soo has joined hands with CP Entertainment, which is packed with the hottest variety talents, signaling a new leap forward.

CP Entertainment announced on the 14th that it had signed an exclusive contract with Park Myung-soo. Debuting in 1993 as an MBC open-recruit comedian, Park is the originator of scolding-style comedy and an all-around entertainer who has built a unique domain while working as an MC, singer, DJ, and YouTuber. Through the national variety show ‘Infinite Challenge,’ he won great love with a range of characters including his Great Star persona, capturing the Grand Prize at the MBC Entertainment Awards in 2007 and 2012. For ten years he has hosted ‘Park Myung-soo Radio Show,’ further solidifying his status as a leading radio DJ in South Korea.

Recently, Park expanded his scope, presenting interview, mukbang, sketch, and daily-life content through his YouTube channel ‘Hal Myung-soo,’ which has about 1.71 million subscribers, establishing himself as an icon of the MZ generation. As he showcases a singular presence across multiple fields and enjoys a second heyday, public expectations are gathering for the synergy he will create with his new agency.

CP Entertainment, a Coupang subsidiary that has become the new partner of Park Myung-soo, has expanded its activities into content production and talent management since its establishment in 2023. Following Shin Dong-yup, Lee Su-ji, Ji Ye-eun, and Kim Gyu-won, it recently signed Kangnam, building a solid artist lineup, and its key productions include the Coupang Play flagship series ‘SNL Korea’ and ‘Office Workers.’
