Vocalist Kim Bada, formerly of the band Sinawe, bowed his head as he parted ways with his agency in the wake of cannabis allegations.
On the 14th, via his social media, Kim stated, “I have decided to part ways with my agency Another Place and all its members,” delivering his stance directly. He explained, “This decision was made about a month ago,” adding, “I do not think it is right for time to pass without fans knowing, so I am telling you myself.”
He continued, “I will come back someday with a good album,” while also apologizing: “I deeply reflect on my lapse that led to this situation and feel sorry.”
Earlier, in March, Kim was arrested by police on charges of possessing and smoking cannabis at a house in downtown Sokcho. After receiving related intelligence, police tracked him for about two months, obtained an arrest warrant, and took him into custody; it has been reported that Kim admitted the charges during questioning.
Kim debuted in the 1990s with the band Bank, then joined Sinawe as its fifth vocalist and was active with the group. He later continued his musical career through various bands including Butterfly Effect and Raysios, and in 2015 rejoined Sinawe, solidifying his standing as a rock vocalist.
