NBC ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’
The idol group MONSTA X continues its global trajectory with diverse activities.
According to the official social media for NBC ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, MONSTA X will appear on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ on the 15th (local time). This is part of promotions for their third U.S. studio album ‘Unfold’, released on the 3rd, and MONSTA X is set to return to the program after six years.
With the new release ‘Unfold’, MONSTA X set a record as the first K-pop act to release three U.S. studio albums. The album contains 10 tracks that capture different temperatures of love. The title track ‘heal’ is built on a weighty, grand sound, with emotions moving in stages from restraint to explosion, and it asks about the meaning of ‘true healing’ within a relationship that repeats wounds because the two cannot let go of each other.
After its release, the album entered the ‘Billboard 200’ and rose to No. 2 on ‘Top Album Sales’. MONSTA X has also drawn attention from major outlets including Billboard, Forbes, and Access Hollywood, and has appeared on the U.S. ABC channel program ‘Good Morning America (GMA)’, as well as iHeartRadio and FOX11 ‘Good Day LA (GDLA)’, continuing to generate a heated response in the U.S. market day after day. With their first appearance on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ in six years, anticipation is building over what kind of stage and charm will captivate global fans.
In 2020, MONSTA X became the first K-pop act to appear on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, drawing the attention of global fans. At the time, they took the stage while releasing their first U.S. studio album ‘ALL ABOUT LUV’, presented the title track ‘YOU CAN’T HOLD MY HEART’, and left a strong impression with a groovy performance using stand microphones.
Through that performance, which proved their delicate vocals and relaxed stage manners, MONSTA X attracted interest not only from local fans but also from leading media; Billboard spotlighted their stage at the time and emphasized their presence in the global market. They also achieved notable results with ‘ALL ABOUT LUV’, including No. 5 on the ‘Billboard 200’, placing in the Top 10 on seven charts in total, No. 7 on ‘Rolling Stone Top 200 Albums’, No. 1 on the Radio Disney ‘Top Radio Disney Songs’ chart, and selection to TIME ‘5 Best Songs of the Week’.
This October, MONSTA X is expected to take the ‘2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS]’ to North America, further adding to their global activities.
