Song Yo-hoon, Secretary-General of the Committee
The Broadcasting Media and Communications Review Committee (Chair Ko Gwang-heon; hereinafter the ‘Committee’) appointed reporter Song Yo-hoon as the inaugural Secretary-General of the Committee, effective the 16th.
Secretary-General Song joined MBC as a reporter in the News Division and served as President of the MBC Reporters Association, Head of the Culture Desk, Head of the Social Desk, and Head of the Special Reporting Desk in the News Division. He also served as Chief of the Investigation Office of the MBC Normalization Committee and as Head of the Broadcasting Headquarters at Arirang International Broadcasting.
While at MBC, Song covered·produced programs including ‘Current Affairs Magazine 2580’, ‘Camera Dispatch’, the Balhae history documentary ‘Swipeun River, That Sad Millennium’, and the era documentary ‘Do You Remember Then?’.
