Actor Park Ah-In will appear in ‘Sold Out Again Today’ to meet viewers on the small screen.
In SBS’s new Wed-Thu drama ‘Sold Out Again Today’ (directed by Ahn Jong-Yeon / written by Jin Seung-Hee / produced by StudioS, Beyond J, Slingshot Studio), which will premiere on the 22nd, Park Ah-In takes on the role of Ji Yoon-Ji, the marquee show host of Hit Home Shopping, showcasing another transformation.
‘Sold Out Again Today’ depicts a fresh, in-season romance, delivered straight to your doorstep, of ‘real-life sellout go-getters’, as perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail) and sellout-driven show host Dam Ye-Jin become entangled day and night.
Ji Yoon-Ji, played by Park Ah-In, is a top show host who has maintained an undisputed No. 1 in sales in the beauty category at Hit Home Shopping. With outstanding skill that drives sellouts, she was formerly Dam Ye-Jin’s (played by Chae Won-Bin) mentor, but now constantly keeps a wary eye on the junior who threatens her position.
Amid the fierce sales competition unfolding within the company, she is expected to square off as a rival against ace Dam Ye-Jin, creating palpable tension. Expectations are mounting for what new vitality Park Ah-In, who has elevated each character’s appeal in every project, will inject through Ji Yoon-Ji.
Park Ah-In has demonstrated a distinct presence by proving her wide-ranging versatility across various works, including the dramas ‘Descendants of the Sun’, ‘Mr. Sunshine’, ‘Vagabond’, ‘Kkondae Intern’, ‘Sweet Home’, ‘When Flowers Bloom, Think of the Moon’, ‘Wedding Impossible’, ‘Good Partner’, and ‘Your Honor’.
Previously, in MBC’s ‘The Moon Flows in the Igang’, she delicately portrayed Hong Nan, the head of the ‘Parkga Guesthouse’, a character endowed with both learning and beauty, conveying a devoted side as she protected Park Dal-I and leaving a deep afterglow that moved viewers. Following her success in a historical drama, even greater attention is focused on Park Ah-In’s fresh transformation in the new-genre project ‘Sold Out Again Today’ and what different charms she will showcase.
