‘Sound Planet Festival 2026’ is drawing attention after revealing a surprise additional lineup on the 17th through its official social media accounts, including Guckkasten, Broken Valentine, hrtz.wav, and ALI(JP).
The first lineup, unveiled in March, generated major buzz with a total of 41 acts, including YB, which has proven the epithet ‘national band’ with explosive live energy and commanding stage presence; Kim Junsu (XIA), loved for his singular vocals and performances; UVERworld, a leading Japanese rock band that has repeatedly sold out stadium-scale shows and established its presence on the global stage; the distinguished vocal group Urban Zakapa; CNBLUE, which has remained steadily active on the strength of a solid global fandom; Thornapple, with a devoted core fanbase for its sophisticated sound; and Jang Beom-jun, whose songs about everyday moments have resonated across generations.
The surprise additional lineup announced via the ‘Sound Planet Festival 2026’ social media accounts features Guckkasten, which has built an unrivaled presence with explosive live performances and overwhelming sound; Broken Valentine, which has solidified its stature in the band scene over many years with intense rock sound and tight musicianship; the rookie band hrtz.wav, which drew attention by winning the Mnet Steel Heart Club; and the Japanese artist ALI(JP), who is gaining notice on the global stage with groove-laden, genre-blurring sounds and powerful live shows, bringing the total to four acts and completing a composition that spans generations, genres, and borders.
In response, Kim Cheon-seong, representative of ‘Sound Planet Festival’, said, “We deeply appreciate the tremendous support you have shown for the first lineup and for the Planet Crew tickets (early-bird tickets). To repay that support, we have prepared a surprise additional lineup along with the second round of Planet Crew tickets. We are doing our utmost to prepare so that audiences who visit Sound Planet can experience special musical moments and unforgettable memories.”
